Echo Fox drops Gears, CoD teams, and more

Esports organisation Echo Fox has a lot of different teams for a lot of different games, but now they've announced a dramatic move on Twitter, as they're dropping the teams for Call of Duty and Gears of War, as well as some fighting game players.

As reported by Dot Esports these FGC players include Victor 'Punk' Woodley for Street Fighter V and Jivan 'Theo' Karapetian and Brad 'Scar' Vaughn for Injustice 2. That's not all though, as the League of Legends head coach Thomas 'Thinkcard' Slotkin is also gone.

This is all part of "a strategic effort to best position our organisation for the future," according to Echo Fox's statement, as they want to put more effort into their remaining rosters to ensure they can deliver to fans. Gears of War is perhaps the biggest surprise then, as this roster had a lot of success in the scene.
